The Incredibles
What a film!
Can the folks at Pixar really put a step wrong? It seems every film they've made since Toy Story has surpassed the one before it, and in some ways they have. After the excellent 'Finding Nemo' many people thought Pixar couldn't do any better, so what they did was re-invet themselves.
The same wonder, fantasy and slick sense of humour is there but this time the characters are people; not toys, bugs, monsters or fish. Real people and the way they captured a genuine family story was amazing. At times I knew I was watching computer animation but I could feel what the characters were feeling, experience what they were experiencing.
Apart from all that, the action, pace and originality of this film was top notch. It was based on simple ideas but pushed to the maximum.
This looks like a short review and that's because I've said all I wanted to say. 'The Incredibles' rocks. Just watch it!
